Happy Thanksgiving To all.......Question of the Day ......

Keeping with the tradition of the holiday, Let's make today's Question a bit fun. This has actually happened, especially to Men!
Today's Question is .....................

Have you ever dated more than one person at the same time, and had to decide who's Holiday Festivities to Attend?

You may find this ironic, but it happens to MEN all the time. This is what separates the men from the Boys. You can cheat, but the HOLIDAYS get you every time because your mate always expect you to be there!

  1. Definitely been here. And this is where the term "house hop" was perfected. Because it is not only that the mate wants you to be there. You also have to deal with the "others" wanting to come over and spend time with the family. Ex's showing up at ya mama's house "just to say hi". But true soldia's have this game in the bag. You know to keep your people in check to ensure that no one is just creepin' up. And the holidays are for the "real" ones. If you are not worthy of quality time around the holiday time, you are probably the "other" woman. And if the quality time that you do get is late at night, and usually involves QUICKLY getting naked...You are more than likely the "jump off".

  2. Ruckus,
You are sooo right. The one who get's the time around the holiday is the one who truly has your heart. I hate to say this but I've been there done that!! I was dating this British gurl one time and their tradition was to do a "Lock In" for Christmas. They would lock themselves in the house two days before Christmas until the day after Christmas. Oh HELL NAH.....that wasn't gonna work for ME. NOT Big Hurch! So, what did I do, my fellow Marine. I pulled the "Emergency at the Base" escape! I had a buddy come by and say, "we Marines are all needed back at base for an Iraq workup. It was mandatory and we had to go for the drill. We didn't know whether it was a drill of an actual exercise, but I had to go! Well, she bought it short term, but her Noisy, too involved ass Mother, said, "There is something fishy about this guy!" (in her heavy British accent) Mother always knows, right! She and I remained friends, but that lock - IN crap didn't work! I had places to go and other GIRLS to see!
Thanks for starting us off Dr. Raw Ruckus!

  3. Classic! I was always one of the good girls...however when I felt like or found out that the other person was doing their dirt, I found a plan b and sometimes a plan c....by that time, he would have hung himself in his own lies....

  4. Je,
We always love the good ones. You know why; because the good girls always forgave us for our "mishaps" or scrapes on the wrong side of the truth! You are a bit different with your Plan B and C but good for you for not sitting around and waiting for us to return. Ironically, the best lesson I ever learned was when I got to my real girlfriend's house after hanging with the "other" and she wasn't there. He little brother said, "Mr. Hurchel, she left with her "other" boyfriend!
    Thanks for sharing,
