Excited and Confused ..... Fri - Sat - Sunday .. Our Weekend Question ......

Mr. Anatomy,
I have a "huge dilemma" and I could use some advice. I've been invited to take a weekend trip with my supervisor to Las Vegas. I have never been to Vegas and really want to go. The problem is, he has a girlfriend who I've met, but don't really know that well. He says it's over with them but my friend saw them out yesterday holding hands and being close. My Question is .......

Should I go to his girlfriend and ask her if their relationship is over before taking this cross country trip to Las Vegas? Or, should I stop being 'stuck up' and live a bit?

Well bloggers, here is one for you to ponder. I have my ideas, but I seriously wish you guys would chime in before I give it a go. Let me know what you think!

  2. This is a good one however, more information is needed. If it's business then go, if not your relationship is with him you have no reason to ask his girlfriend anything. All questions from you should be directed to him. Please give us more information.

Thank you for giving me advice. This is not a business trip, he calls it a "get to know him" trip. He said he was going anyway but said he was inviting me so we can get away from the office. He always flirts with me, but it's kinda understood where this is going. I like this guy, but I have never had a boyfriend at work. I hope this answer the questions for you.

  4. If you want to roll in the hay, go to Vegas. If you want a relationship with this man stay home because this ain't that kind of trip/party.

  5. Is it not possible for me to have both? I want a relationship, not just a roll in the hay. He is a very nice guy and when he's at work, he is professional. I don't know much about him outside of work, but he tells me while in Vegas, there will be separate rooms. I am feeling like taking this leap of faith, just want to make sure I'm not sending the wrong message. Haven't dated in over a year. I could use the companionship, but just don't wanna get played by a smooth talker and it be nothing when I get back home to Atlanta.

  6. Go have fun and live a bit. Remember one thing, life don't give you NO do overs! Stop worrying about the other lady, cause she ain't worried about you. As long as he ain't married, go have some fun on somebody else's dime. I promise you if it were me, I would beat him to the airport. I am stuck in a backwards relationship so whenever I get a chance to tell someone else don't be me, I do, so, don't be me! Go to Vegas, see some shows, have some fun, and if by chance you end up in his room, leave some memories in the desert! Lord knows I have left enough of them in Atlantic City. hahahaha

  8. Dear Ms. Vegas Maybe,
The ladies have spoken; I am a man and let me give you my opinion!!! When a man wants to move to the next level of lowering your inhibitions, they schedule an out of town trip!! Why you ask, because all the focus is on you and there are NO outside influences. Allow me to explain: IF there is someone we are interested in, all the background noise is removed once you board that plane. You guys will spend every moment together and he gets to know you a lot faster without interruptions. It's like big time "Player" move #261! When you are on the road, you are more inclined to "STOP THINKING" so much and follow your feelings. I'm not saying you are being played, I am just saying you have to give the "Supervisor" an A for Effort. He has probably been watching you for awhile and realizes he can't reach his goal locally so he's taking you out of your 'area code' to further his agenda! As for his other girlfriend, they are probably at the end of their rope, he is moving forward with replacing her. Rock his world in Vegas, and she is HISTORY ! Trust me! We never leave one until we have firmly identified our new ONE. (Man 101)

  9. Okay, everybody seems to have the same advice so I am going to Vegas. I told him I am honored to go with him. He said he's excited. I have no expectations other than having fun. I did ask him what this trip would do for us and he said just enjoy the ride!

  10. (I am Plane Lady) from my question Feb 17, 2012 ......
I had to write in and give y'all an update and tell that lady the advice of Mr. Anatomy and the other people works! So don't be afraid, just take a deep breath and watch what happens. I am confident now, and you need to be too. I am dating the guy from my office that I liked but was scared to tell. I was so afraid to meet him but after opening up and tryna get to know him, he told me he always liked me too, even before I met him. He told me he always tried to look in my eyes, but my head was always down or I looked away. Now we together and girl, my head is UP. I'm a bigger, mixed race female and I used what I knew how to do to get him, FOOD!! I invited him over for dinner and made some Cuban food of Boliche and yellow rice, after that, he was hooked. Now, he think he's Cuban and want me to cook all the time! (smiling big) Anyway, let yo gut guide you and don't be scared girl. If you make a mistake, it won't be the first or last.
