Dear Mr. Anatomy,
Ok given I'm not the perfect woman! I can turn a few heads, cook great meals, work multiple jobs, God-fearing, carry myself in a respectful manner, and of course I could go on and on. As I single woman I meet guys regularly but unfortunately I'm rarely attracted to any of them and no I'm not attracted to females. I simply want a manly man; you know the type that our grandmother's mother married. Chivalry was naturally a quality. The ones that take out trash everyday, fix things when they see something wrong, go to church with you, cook for you, rub your feet, surprise you with a "I love u card;" all because they really do! He holds your hand while he drives, send flowers because your day went bad or going great; dammit things that make you feel like a complete WOMAN at all times. I can reassure you I will be the most dedicated, submissive and qualified woman for that man that honestly acts like one. Until then should I limit my expectations or give up and settle for the immature boy that appears to be "mr perfect" because he is dressed nice or as these amateurs would say, "has swag." My Question is .....
"Do I need to lower my standards? Am I asking for too much?"

No, do not lower your Standards! Just be assertive to let a Man know what you want and will not tolerate.But to be fair Life is about Compromise's. How often does a Man have to go to church with you? 2 Sundays a month is Fair. Are you telling him every Sunday,plus Usher night,bible study,choir rehersal nights.What time is Church over on Sunday? My Wife use to attend a Church that started at 11am and ended at 3pm, missed enjoying my Sunday's. Now we attend a Church that starts at 9am ,ends at 10:30am I don't mind going at all. My Church attendance has shot up! Other concern was Fixing things around the House? What kind of tools are do you have at your house? Or as a gift have you ever bought a man any Tools? Lady, you get your man the Craftman 100 piece set or new tools with the latest gadgets.(Sears Craftman Quality Only) I can't wait til stuff breaks around my house... I get to use my gadgets, Men luv Fixing stuff or breaking it as long as we have the right Tools. I Luv pulling out my Chainsaw! How often do we have to rub your feet? Once a week or every night?
ReplyDeleteNo, you must just wait on the one for you, but you may need too look a little deeper into grandma and grandpas relationship. I bet what you saw is not the whole story nor was it that easy. By the time, you got into the pic, he had began to adore her. I believe there is compromise and growth with everything. Good luck
