The Cougar and the Cub ........ Thurs ~ Friday ~ Question of the Day...

Mr. Anatomy, I've been dating this younger guy for about 4 months and while his total obsession of me was cute in the beginning, I am starting to think that maybe my cub is a little too dependent on the Cougar ..... Today's Question Is .........

Urban Cougar: An older woman, typically early thirties to mid-forties, who has abandoned traditional rules of romantic engagement to pursue a younger man as her target!

Is it normal for a younger guy to "Always" want to be around when dating a "Cougar?"

There is a 10 year difference with my man, and I swear, every time I leave home and try to visit my friends in a social setting, my cub wants to tag along. At first it was so cute, but I'm starting to think I've done something to him that may have scarred him for life.

  1. My co worker, (formerly a cougar) says "If he has to be around all the time, then that means he is insecure". So not normal... :)

  2. Catrina, ask co-worker if after "whooping him" her cub always wanted to tag along for fear of her seeking other youngsters? That's our issue here!

  3. It has nothing to do with Cougars or younger men...when you whoop that "snapper" on any man he becomes clingy and jealous...

  4. So what you saying Dr. Michelle, it's all about the Snapper, and how the fish is administered ?

  5. YES INDEED! if a man is unexperienced in Snapper Education, he will lose his mind with all of the various degrees of "snapping" going on in his head and around his loins... Something about when that thang grips and releases in a steady flowing motion that a lot of men can't handle mentally and or physically. It can cause a man to literally lose his mind at the thought of another man receiving that same treatment from what he now feels like is "his". Dang fool doesn't release that snappers can't be tamed...

  6. Oh, wow,......That is exactly what I told our subject, EXACTLY. The following up behind her has gotten a bit out of control. Every time she thinks she has a break to hang out and be normal, BOO YOW, Cub shows up with his radar beepin!

  8. Yes, that's the reason for the blog question today, the other day, when Mr. Anatomy landed, there was a message waiting for me about his subsequent behavior. This is our forum before we suggest some changes. We can't change the snapper, so we have to change the fisherman!!!

  9. When you have the certified "Good Good" you can't help it being a problem. Some Know, Few Show..... That's all I'm saying!

  10. Unfortunately that is the downside of being blessed with the bait and hook... once you have cast that line into un-fished waters, you can reel it in before a fish takes a hold, but sometimes some fish are so starved that they jump on the first hook that's thrown in, whether it has crickets (sleepers), liver (leakers), earthworms (wigglers), etc... and all men don't get snappers and if they do they try and hold on to them for dear life! WOMEN, STOP JUMPING INTO BED WITH THESE MEN UNTIL YOU REALLY KNOW THEM, THEIR GOOD AND BAD SIDES, BECAUSE EVER HUMAN HAS THESE TRAITS!

  11. A man once told me...that he has never had any bad coochie, all of them were different in their own ways, some smelled good, some smelled bad, some were tight, others were loose, some was given freely and some wasn't, some were GREAT and some were mediocre, but ultimately, he had never had any coochie that was bad...IJS

  14. OK, I'm back, let me catch up....Kim, actually, there are some bad ones. But, it depends on the receiver. If you are just looking for the action or the motion, then yes, they all are the same BUT, when you meet the Snapper that's for you, it changes your life. All think they carry one of those but unfortunately, that's just not the case. Perfection takes nurturing, and nurturing takes practice! The problem with the cub, he's run up against something he hasn't had, and it touching his soul. Trust me, I'm a Connoisseur; there are very FEW of us!

  15. Mr. Anatomy, - I am a "True Cougar" and I'm not afraid to say it. I'm 45 years old and the age I seek is between 25 and 30. I am a college Adjunct professor and teaching is on the menu for these young guys. I was married and my ex-husband had more thumbs than smooth hands! Whenever he would touch me, I squirmed. I got married because it was the thing to do in the small town of Bolivar, TN where I lived. Sex got so bad with him, I just laid there and counted the little specks on the ceiling! In 17 years of marriage, I new every speck and dust bowl on the damn ceiling. When enough was enough, we divorced with irreconcilable differences as the cause, but that wasn't the reason, my attorney (female) just wouldn't let me say 'little peter-player' as the reason, so I chose the more traditional term! For years, I endured him, but when I left, I said, I am going to try some younger men and teach them how to please a WOMAN. It is now my quest. Call me a slut, call me a whore, but what you won't call me is UNSATISFIED! I never lie to my young friends. I keep one just as long as it takes for his young ass to get hooked. When he starts bugging me, or coming by my job unannounced, he's fired and I look for another one. Typically, that cycle is 4 to 5 months, But, like our subject, their little asses get attached and I have to unchain them. I teach them how to please, not tease! Then I send them to other ladies with a degree in *uckology!

  16. I am taking notes on this one. I am soon to be footloose and fancy free in a couple of months out of a 22 year marriage. I have been approached by several young stud muffins in their mid-twenties over the past year and I have been contemplating whether to go that route or not. I have always dated older men but now that I am approaching 50 I have been reconsidering that. A good friend of mine has been encouraging me to take one of those young studs for a trial ride. So thank you for the encouraging words as well as the cautionary words.

  17. Dear CindyLou....
Young stud muffins are approaching huh? What exactly is the common lingo these days when the Cougar is chased by the cub? Since you have always reached upward for your connections, do you think reaching downward in age would pose a problem for your involvement in a rewarding relationship based on your strong belief system? I find it very encouraging when young men approach the cougar because is says we are all playing on a level playing field and the Cougar, as outlined by our Anonymous blogger above, can teach the "young Cub" how to keep the playing field educated where "faking" can be minimized! Each one Teach one, cause a mind is a terrible thing to sexually waste! (Used a couple of other organization's slogan there, sorry! :)

  19. While I do have a strong belief system and convictions, I also have somewhat of a wild cat inside with desires that sometimes needs to be tamed by giving into them, not that I do every time. I am very selective in who I spend my time with. Those urges don't die just because you have a strong relationship with God. I am human and I am not afraid to admit that. With that said, I believe that I could have a rewarding relationship with a younger cub depending on their age and maturity plus if there is a common bond among all the other qualities that I have touched on in past blogs. I am not looking to go out and conquer a whole pack. I only stated that I was considering that option. But I am not interested in playing with their emotions either nor necessarily teaching them. There is a lot to consider when heading back out into the dating scene and I am just gathering information as well as considering the options that are available.
